Advanced Painting Techniques

Advanced Technique can only be done after completion of Learn to Paint***

You can make a dramatic change to your painting immediately, and yet you’ll still be excited about what you can paint in two decades’ time, because learning advanced technique opens us to our higher imagination as well, bit by bit, with each painting we accomplish.

Each technique will be practised as a large scale painting of your own choice. In the process, you will discuss and debate your choices with your teacher. This will be part of the training you how to make independent choices based on what you see in front of you, and not just copying something from a picture.

Realistic to Modern Portrait Painting

In this Portrait Painting course will teach you how to paint beautiful, realistic and modern portraits that captures the subject’s likeness. This course is unique in how it breaks down the complex topic of portrait drawing into simple and easily understood, step-by-step exercises

You’ll begin by learning the basics of the human head. Each new concept will be completed by an initial drawing and practice painting. Once you understand all the basics of human anatomy and have done the various exercises, you will continue to paint a full self-portrait, in the classical method. Once that has been done you will then move on to the more modern interpretation of Portrait Painting.

Amazing Abstracts

Who should do this course? Anyone who wants to explore non-representational painting. Anyone who wants to strengthen and develop their own voice as a painter. Anyone interested in taking risks with their painting. Anyone who wants to have more confidence in their own way of painting.

Prospective students need no prior experience..
