Calling all art lovers! The Durbanville Spring Market is back, and this year it’s bigger and better than ever. The market will be held on Saturday, September 23rd from 9am to 2pm at the 1st Durbanville Scouts in de Villiers Drive. Admission is free, and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Spring into Art at the Durbanville Spring Market

Calling all art lovers!

The Durbanville Spring Market is back, and this year it’s bigger and better than ever. The market will be held on Saturday, September 23rd from 9 am to 2 pm at the 1st Durbanville Scouts in de Villiers Drive. Admission is free, and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

 

The market will feature a variety of stalls selling crafts, food, and drinks. There will also be a LifeArt student art exhibition, ziplines, pioneering demonstrations, and a pop-up museum.

The LifeArt student art exhibition will showcase the work of talented young artists from the area. The artwork will be available for sale, with prices starting at R250. There will be a wide variety of styles on display, from contemporary abstracts to fun pop art to portraits and landscapes.

LifeArt School has been in operation since 2004 and has managed to help various students become full time artists. Leonie is also a well know local and international artist. She paints three days a week and her work is available in various galleries.
